About Mrs. McBride
I am a devoted and passionate individual with a desire to support and encourage each and every child to reach his or her fullest potential. I believe in providing students with a secure, compassionate, and motivating learning environment that promotes their growth intellectually, socially, physically, and emotionally. My qualifications include 6 years of elementary teaching experience, a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Child Development, an English Language Learner Authorization and a Cleared Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (NCLB Compliant). My experience in the classroom has given me the opportunity to gain expertise in areas such as: differentiated instruction, effective classroom management, uses of technology in the classroom, cooperative learning, knowledge and implementation of the State and Common Core Standards, successful lesson planning and design, and interdisciplinary learning.
